Anger and the Addictive Mind. Seven evening classes: Yoga, Breathwork & Lecture

18:30–20:00 UK time | via Zoom & Recorded 20, 27 May & 3, 10, 17, 24 June & 1 July

Join me for a series of evening classes exploring the relationship between anger and the addictive mind.

If you know my work, you’ll know that I see addiction not as the problem, but as a solution — a response to something deeper that feels difficult to manage. Very often, that “something” includes anger.

Anger that hasn’t been understood.

Anger that hasn’t been allowed.

Anger that has been turned inward.

For many people, anger is one of the most challenging emotions to feel. It can be bound up with shame, fear, guilt, or a sense that it is dangerous or unacceptable. And so, instead of being processed, it becomes suppressed, redirected, or acted out through addictive behaviours… whether that’s substances, food, work, relationships, or patterns of thinking.

Across these seven 90-minute sessions, we will explore how anger lives in the body, how it connects to the nervous system, and how it fuels the cycles of the addictive mind. Each class begins with a short lecture, followed by breathwork and a yoga series designed to safely access, move, and integrate this energy.

This is not about becoming more reactive or expressing anger without care. It is about developing the capacity to feel what is there, without being overwhelmed by it, and without needing to escape it.

Yoga and breathwork offer a direct way into this work. Through movement and breath, we can begin to release held tension, regulate the system, and create space for a different kind of response. One that is more conscious, more grounded, and less driven by compulsion.

You do not need any previous experience to join these classes. You simply arrive, exactly as you are, and allow the process to unfold.

Classes are taught live on Zoom and recorded for catch-up via Vimeo, available throughout the series and for four weeks after it ends. You are welcome to join at any point and will receive recordings of any sessions you have missed.

The Wednesday evening community is thoughtful, warm, and deeply engaged… a group of people willing to explore difficult material with honesty and care.

Join me for Anger and the Addictive Mind, and begin to understand how working with anger can transform the patterns that keep you stuck.
