The Anger Reset. Monday Morning Breathwork

Join me for a series of early-morning breathwork classes exploring anger. and how to work with it intelligently.
Anger is one of the most misunderstood emotions we have. Many of us are frightened of it, suppress it, or only encounter it when it erupts in ways that feel overwhelming or destructive. But anger, at its core, is not the problem. It is energy. It is information. It is often a response to something that feels unjust, unsafe, or unmet.
When anger is held in the body without movement or expression, it can turn inward. becoming anxiety, tension, resentment, or exhaustion. When it is expressed without awareness, it can damage relationships and leave us feeling worse. The work is to learn how to meet it, move it, and reset the system.
In these seven 30-minute sessions, we will use the breath to safely access, process, and release held energy. Some practices will be stronger, more activating, helping to shift stagnation and build capacity. Others will be calming and integrating, supporting the system to settle after activation. Together, they create a rhythm of release and reset.
A reset does not mean getting rid of anger. It means changing your relationship to it. Learning that you can feel it without being overwhelmed by it. That your body can move through intensity and return to balance.
These classes offer a contained, supported space to explore that process… gently, consistently, and with care.
Each session takes place live on Zoom at 6am UK time and lasts 30 minutes. All classes are recorded and available to catch up throughout the series and for four weeks after it ends.
No previous experience of breathwork is needed. All you need is somewhere comfortable to sit, and the willingness to show up exactly as you are.

Carolyn’s breathwork classes challenge those parts that wish to abandon effort and focus. Easing one’s way through with her expert guidance finding peace and a quiet place within is the reward.
I’ve known Carolyn for 12 years as a friend and in this time have done a few of her online Kundalini yoga classes which have been brilliant. Recently I have been going through a hard time in my life and I saw Carolyn’s instagram post about her Delicious Stillness breathwork series running in December. I signed up to this hoping that I could get up in the mornings (I couldn’t!) but thankfully all the classes are recorded and on Vimeo so you can do this in your own time. The classes are wonderful, and as an anxious person I can truly say breathing in this way does really really make you ‘deliciously still’ – which is something I never thought I’ve ever say of myself, as my mind is always going 100mph. Concentrating on breathing and the sensations in my body, belly breathing, coupled with Carolyn’s very calming voice, have, in the moment, made all those anxious thoughts disappear. Thank you Carolyn for these sensational classes and I would really recommend to anyone needing to still their mind, or anyone suffering with anxiety, mental health issues or grief.

Carolyn’s Breathwork classes feel like a breath of fresh air. Over the past couple of months, I have found the classes interesting, creative and refreshing. Having connected to Carolyn’s Monday morning breath work classes for about 6 months or more now, I was intrigued to meet her in person and enjoy a workshop under the same roof. The location was beautiful at HOME in Primrose Hill and Carolyn held the space with a deliciousness that was tangible. There is no judgement, the space is safe, vulnerabilities are welcomed and nurtured with love; we show up on our mats, we are all perfect with our imperfections and Carolyn’s humour and mastery of English wit makes me feel at ease and safely held to explore this new dimension of breath work and everything that might come up in that space. Carolyn’s workshop are the best thing I’ve done for myself this year. She’s warm kind and excellent there’s a rigour in the breathing techniques – very simple – that she guides us through which really grounds you. and the 0600 timing meant that the sun came up on this grounding peaceful time setting me up so well for the week.
