The Practice of Gratitude. Six evening classes: Yoga, Breathwork & Lecture

18:30–20:00 UK time, via Zoom & Recorded 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th of April and the 6th and 13th May

Join me for six evening classes exploring the practice of gratitude. This is gratitude not as a fleeting feeling or a polite gesture, but as a powerful way of shaping how we experience our lives.

Gratitude is often misunderstood. Many people think it means ignoring difficulties. Being someone who forces positivity, or pretending that everything is fine. True gratitude is something much deeper and more intelligent than that. It is the ability to recognise what is here, what supports us, what nourishes us, even while life has challenges and uncertainty.

For many of us, our nervous systems are wired to notice danger first. This is not a flaw, as such, it is part of how the human brain has evolved to keep us safe. But when that hypervigilance dominates, it can become difficult to notice the good that is also present. The practice of gratitude gently shifts that balance.

Across these six 90-minute sessions, we will explore how gratitude can be cultivated in the body and mind. Each class begins with a short talk introducing an idea or reflection, followed by breathwork and a yoga series designed to soften the nervous system and help the body settle into a more receptive state.

When the body relaxes and the breath deepens, our capacity to experience appreciation naturally expands. Gratitude becomes less like something we try to feel, and more like something we allow ourselves to notice.

You do not need to be flexible or experienced to join these classes. You simply arrive, exactly as you are, and allow the practice to unfold.

Classes take place live on Zoom and are recorded for catch-up via Vimeo. Recordings remain available throughout the series and for four weeks after the final class. You are welcome to join at any point and will receive any recordings you have missed.

The Wednesday evening community is warm, thoughtful, and curious, a group of people who come together each week to explore ideas that support a richer and more grounded way of living.

Join me for The Practice of Gratitude, and spend six weeks discovering how appreciation can quietly transform the way you experience your life.
